Közös Szikra organises speed dating events where participants meet in person. During the event participants use aliases, which ensures that after the event only those people selected by the system — on the basis of mutual interest — gain access to a given participant's real name and email address.
The system creates matches as follows. After the event, participants sign in to the website and select the people they are interested in from the participant list, by alias. In the case of mutual interest (both parties selected each other's alias), we share the contact details between the two parties.
Registration takes place by completing the form on the website and paying the participation fee. Registration becomes valid once the participation fee has been received.
The amount of the participation fee is stated for each event. Payment is made by bank card through the Stripe system.
The participation fee may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the event; in that case 100% of the fee is refunded. For cancellations made after that point, the participation fee is not refunded. Cancellation requests should be sent to [email protected].
Közös Szikra provides only the opportunity to meet. We accept no responsibility for further communication and relationships between participants.
The organiser may take photos and videos at the event. By registering, the participant consents to Közös Szikra using recordings made of them on its own website and social media channels (for example Facebook, Instagram) for promotional purposes. Recordings are published without names: participants' real names, aliases and contact details are never shown alongside the recordings.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time, free of charge and without justification, by writing to [email protected]. If consent is withdrawn, we stop using recordings of that participant and remove any that have already been published. The data protection details of photography are set out in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
